Vegan Homemade Chips

This one is super easy but guaranteed to impress!


Ingredients


2 Large potatoes

Salt - to taste

Oil for cooking


Method


Preheat oven to 180C


* Cut potatoes into shape. This can be any shape you would like. You can make them wedges or more traditional and rectangular.

If you would like to make your chips look more professional you can peel them first.

* Boil the potatoes for 10 minutes. Or until the potatoes have started to soften.

* Heat oil in an oven tray. This takes about 5 minutes, when you put the potatoes in you want to hear the sizzle. You can heat the oil while you're boiling the potatoes.

* Pour the potatoes into the oil and coat them.

* Add salt to taste.

* Cook for 15 minutes or until crispy.

You can add more salt here if you would like. I would recommend you try sea salt!
