Who else loves salsa? It's the perfect dip for your crackers, crisps and breadsticks! Simple salsa is a great recipe for the summer or for your games nights! It's a great one to bring out with your bbq's!
Before the pandemic we had regular games nights with my siblings and this dip was perfect for us!
This salsa has very few ingredients and the ones you don't have you could easily swap out or leave out.
For me this is made up of all ingredients I have in the house all the time so if I fancy some salsa I can quickly whip it up.

To make this salsa you just need to small dice all of the ingredients, so they are roughly all the same size, and mix them together in a bowl. Season how you would like. Then it's ready to go! It's that simple!
Tomatoes;
Tomatoes are a great source of antioxidant lycopene, which has been linked to many health benefits, such as reduced risk of heart disease and cancer.
They are a great source of vitamin c, potassium, folate, fiber and vitamin k.
Red Pepper;
Bell peppers are a fruit from the nightshadefamily.
Bell peppers are low in calories and high in vitamin c & other important vitamins and other antioxidants.
Studies have shown that regular comsumption of bell peppers could reduce the risk of eye problems. This is because they are rich in carotenoids.
They also help reduce risk of anemia due to the vitamins and iron that they are rich in.
Red Onion;
Onions are packed with nutrients; they are low in calories and high in vitamins, minerals and fiber.
Vitamin c, which onions are particularly high in, is involved in regulating immune health, collagen production, tissue repair and iron absorption.
Onions contain antioxidants that could lower heart disease risk.

Simple Salsa
Ingredients
1 Tin Chopped Tomatoes
1 Red Pepper - Small Dice
Salt & Pepper - To taste
Chilli - Optional
1 Red Onion - Small Dice
2 Clove Garlic - Minced
1 Tomato - Small Dice
You want all your ingredients to be roughly the same size.
Method
Add all the ingredients into a bowl and mix to combine.
Serve
