
If you love berries this is the perfect smoothie to start your day off with! This vegan berry smoothie takes seconds to make and it tastes so good! It's the perfect smoothie to give you that little energy boost that you need!
I used the mixed packets of mixed berries, you can buy at the supermarket, to make this smoothie but you can specifically pick out your favourites.
I put ice in the mix to make it a colder and thicker drink. If you don't want it like this you can skip the ice.
Also if you use frozen berries, you wont need the ice.
The berry mix I used includes blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, grapes and more.
All of these are so healthy for you!
Blackberries;
Blackberries are packed with vitamin C and vitamin K, high in fiber. They may boost brain health and they are good for bone development.
Raspberries;
Raspberries are low in calories and high in fiber, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.
They may help proteccf against diabetes, cancer, obesity and more.
Blueberries;
Blueberries help promote healthy bones. They contain iron, phosphorous, calcium and more. They help you have healthy skin and could help lower blood pressure and improve mental health.
Grapes;
Grapes are packed with nutrients. They may help provent chronic diseases and protect against certain types of cancer. They are also good for a healthy heart.
Please do your own research on all of these, you will see so many more positive things than I have listed here.
I used protein powder in my smoothie to help with extra protein, this is optional but I highly suggest it. Please see my last smoothie post or do some research to see why having a good amount of protein is important!

Berry Smoothie
Ingredients
1 ½ Cups Mixed Berries
1 tbsp Protein Powder (optional)
1-2 tbsp Milk
3-4 Ice Cubes
Method
Place all ingredients in a blender.
Blitz until smooth
Add more milk if you would like the mix to be thinner.
Serve
Enjoy!
