Vegan Kiwi and Strawberry Smoothie

This Kiwi and Strawberry Smoothie is easy to make and a great combination of flavours. Smoothies are a great way to start the day. Especially before or after a workout.


This recipe only makes one small portion, adjust the amount of each ingredient if you want a larger drink or enough for more than one person.


Kiwis are perfect to have in the morning; it detoxifies your body and is full of fibre. Kiwis are also a great source of energy and will keep you going for hours.


Strawberries are an excellent source of vitamins C and K as well as providing a good dose of fibre, folic acid, manganese and potassium.


I’ve been loving having a smoothie after my workout every morning. It is a great healthy treat to look forward to.


Because the strawberries are frozen it makes the smoothie thicker, if you use fresh strawberries it wont be as thick.


You can add ice cubes to make a smoothie thicker.


If you want to add some extra sweetness you can add some vanilla essence, maple syrup or agave nectar.

Kiwi and Strawberry Smoothie - Serves 1


Ingredients


1 Kiwi

¾ Cup Strawberries, Frozen

1 Cup Vegan Milk - We use oat milk but any plant based milk will work


Method


Blend all the ingredients together.


Serve
