Who doesn't love pizza?
These vegan mini pizzas are the perfect treat for anyone, not just your little ones! My husband loves them and it's the perfect thing if he feels like a takeaway.
Your children having a sleepover? Why not make the dough and let them and their friends put the toppings on themselves! You'll be the favourite house to sleep at!
This recipe makes 10-15 mini pizzas. I made 10 but I made them slightly bigger.
It's so easy to make these pizzas! Other than letting the dough rise, it's quite a quick recipe also!
Ingredients:
500g/4 cups Bread Flour (Gluten free if needed)
1 ½ tsp Salt
2 tsp Dried Active Yeast
4 tbsp Olive Oil
300ml/ 1 ¼ cup Warm Water
Toppings of your choice
Tomato Puree & Cheese (recommended)
Method
* In a large bowl sift the flour.
* Add the salt and yeast
* In a separate, small bowl, mix the olive oil and water together.
* Knead the wet into the dry. This will turn it into the dough.
* Transfer the mix onto a lightly floured surface, knead for 10-15 minutes. Your dough wants to be shiny and pliable.
* Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with cling film, let rise for 1 hour or until the dough has doubled in size. A warm place will make your dough rise quicker. I leave mine in the kitchen, next to the oven, as I'm usually cooking multiple things at a time.
* Knead the dough for a further 5-8 minutes. Your dough will be shiny and stretchy.
* Preheat the oven 250C
* Cut the dough into 10-15 even pieces.
* Roll each piece into shape.
Make your pizza;
* Spread tomato puree over the dough.
* Spread grated cheese over the top.
* Put your toppings of choice on.
* Cook for 7-8 minutes or until the dough has started to brown.
Serve
Enjoy!
