We've had some requests for some more dinner recipes, and we were more than happy to fulfil this. This vegan peanut satay is so tasty and easy to make, it's perfect for a date night, dinner party or family meal!
We have been trying to find ways to make some super easy and tasty meals that make rice, pasta and potatoes more interesting for everyone!
While we are all eating at home every night, the same meals can get rather boring, so we are here to help!
This satay sauce has so much freedom, the sauce requires 3 ingredients and you can use any vegetables that you would like for the sauce to go on!
If you like a little heat in your meals you can add 2 tbsp of sweet chilli sauce into the sauce and this will add a little heat.
You could also add some chillis into the vegetables.
To begin with you need to fry your vegetables until they begin to colour, they will start to brown a little.
You then need to add the peanut butter and golden syrup, you can use agave nectar if you would like to make this healthier, you then need to spread the peanut butter and golden syrup around the pan a little so it doesn't stay in 1 lump.
You then just need to add the water to make the sauce a little thinner and leave it all to cook until the vegetables are soft enough to eat.
The whole dinner takes about 15-20 minutes to make. It's perfect if you are looking for a quick and easy meal!
