Vegan Schnitzels make the perfect meat replacement for any dish! This is one of my all time favourites!
We have enjoyed schnitzles with new potatoes and vegetables and we cut them up and put them in wraps with salad.
There is no bad way to enjoy these!
I was a little sceptical trying these because I'm not a huge fan of celeriac. However this is something I could eat every day, it tastes amazing!
These vegan schnitzels are super easy to make and so impressive! You will impress whoever tries these!

To make these vegan schnitzels;
Peel your celeriac and slice it into roughly 1/2cm thick pieces.
Lightly flour each piece with 2 tbsp plain flour.

In a bowl mix 1/4 cup plain flour, soy sauce, water & pepper. Mix together to make your batter.
Find our soy free soy sauce recipe here.
In a seperate bowl add your bread crumbs.
Dip each slice of celeriac in the batter and cover them.
Once you've coated the celeriac in batter place it in the breadcrumbs and spread them over the batter until your celeriac is completely covered with breadcrumbs.
Heat some oil in a 22cm round frying pan.
Place your celeriacs, single layer, in the frying pan. Do not overlap any of them else they wont cook.
Fry each celeriac for 4-5 minutes each side or until the breadcrumbs look and feel dry.
Serve and enjoy!
