Vegan Teacakes

Writer's picture: Marisa's Vegan RecipesMarisa's Vegan Recipes

These Vegan Teacakes are a delicious breakfast or snack. Surprise your loved ones with a delicious homemade toasted teacake for breakfast on Valentine’s Day.

These teacakes came out a little smaller than I was expecting, but they were just as soft and fluffy as store-bought teacakes.

This recipe makes 8 lovely teacakes, perfect for the whole family to enjoy.

I chose to use a mixture of dry fruit, and the mixture of sweetness is great, especially with a layer of vegan butter and raspberry jam on top. Why not check out our spreads page to find the perfect thing to pair with these teacakes?

If there is any fruit you like specifically you can make it with just one fruit instead of a mixture.

The teacakes themselves are not too sweet and would go great with your afternoon cup of tea. You can even leave out the sugar altogether if it’s not to your taste.

Teacakes are also a great recipe to make as we are coming into springtime. Although the weather has been icy cold, I have started to see daffodils growing in my garden, and what better to have for your spring brunch than a homemade teacake?

I hope you love these vegan teacakes as much as I do!
